For one long weekend this June, from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th, Miniclick are taking over the Eranda Studio at The Photographers’ Gallery, turning the space into a secondary school of photography. The faculty at The School of Miniclick will present their curriculum – a series of talks, workshops, fun and games from a wide range of guest teachers, including David Fathi, Lumine’s Lab, Amak Mahmoodian, Rhiannon Adams, Kevin Meredith and many more.
You can read all about it here.
Our Science department welcomes new members of the faculty, David Fathi who will be visiting from Paris to do a talk on his work and Lumine’s Lab who will be running a science and photography workshop for all the family. More on Mr Fathi’s talk at this link.

Lumine’s Lab
Image: Johann Bohm.
Brighton based Lumine’s Lab is a creative workshop run by photographers Charlotte Eliza King and Charlotte Wilson.
They aim to encourage curious people of all ages to explore the relationship between science and art. The sessions introduce links between disciplines in a creative and fun way, whilst also having an educational element. The workshops are for all ages.
At The Photographers’ Gallery, join Lumine’s Lab for a workshop where participants are encouraged to explore how early photographic methods were used within science to allow the masses to see the previously unseen. In homage to Johann Bohm, a photochemist of the 20th century, visitors will create cyanotypes which illustrate and capture magnetic fields. The workshop is free but limited to 12 spaces. Please email jim@miniclick.co.uk to book in.
