The About the Physical Object weekend will consist of a schedule of new and interesting approaches to producing publications of one kind or another. Concentrating on the idea of the physical nature of publishing, photography and literature: All within the idea of the book and the physical object.

Miniclick's The Heart Grows Fonder. Oct 25th, 2014

Based on Marshall Mcluhan’s seminal book, Medium is the Massage, this project seeks to address warnings of the distancing effects of new media, via an online and print community, which is dedicated to bringing people together. This all day zine making event with Miniclick and their guest Jame Neale will be running a short story writing workshop based upon photographic submissions allowing you to come along and create your own photo illustrated bedtime story. Throughout the day we will have short drop in activities and an interactive environment encouraging photo based story writing. We aim to help create an interactive story writing environment reflecting the collective and interpretive nature of The Heart Grows Fonder as a project and exploring the relationship between image and text in creating a narrative.
