This July football is coming home. We are exploring the photographic documentation on the sport with talks from Martin Anderson and Flora Maclean. Both of which look at football, the sport, the fans and the scene it has created over the years in very different ways.

Flora Mclean

There is a graphic sensibility and flair for playing with light and pattern to Flora Maclean’s photography. Originally a menswear designer, she first made headlines with her Every Player Counts series documenting the culture of the often-ignored female footballers community with softness and candidness that have since become her signatures.

No matter whether it is a commission or a personal work, Flora’s images are intimate and imbued with a sense of strength, consequently building up a body of work spanning fashion, portraiture, documentary and still life.
