Party: The Exploding Miniclick Inevitable – Thurs 2nd Oct

Throughout October Miniclick are hosting a series of photography based events on the theme of “Another Way of Looking” (AWOL) as part of both the Brighton Photo Fringe and the Brighton Photo Biennial. It promises to be a month of exploration, experimentation, fun and games.

It all kicks off with a psychedelic launch party, The Exploding Miniclick Inevitable.

Thursday 2nd October, 6-8pm at The Miniclick Business Concern at 68MS, Middle Street, Brighton. 8pm ’till late downstairs at Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar, Middle Street, Brighton. Free Entry.

From 6-8pm visitors will be able to get an exclusive preview of The Miniclick Business Concern – Miniclick’s home for the month hosting on exhibitions, talks, workshops and participatory events. The preview will also include the first look at Tom Pullen’s exhibition “Because I Cannot See”.

From 8pm ’till 2am we move across the road to downstair’s at Stick Mike’s Frog Bar to continue the party with our DJs Black Channels (DJ Set and Visuals), The Rhinestoned Immaculates (DJ Set) and On Repeat (DJ Set).

The venue is smack in the middle of Brighton, 10 minute walk from the station (50mins train from London). Trains back to London run late, but if you’d like to stay the night please get in touch as we have deals with a couple of excellent Brighton hotels. The next day, the Biennial launches with a series of talks and tours, and a number of the Fringe exhibitions will be open too, so well worth staying the night!

The Miniclick Business Concern at 68MS is located in the middle of Brighton, 1 minute from the beach and a ten minute walk to Brighton Train Station. A number of trains run every hour to London (Victoria – 51mins / London Bridge – 56mins / London Blackfriars – 1hr 03mins).
