Talk: They Who Do – Weds Sept 24th

September marks our 4th birthday and to celebrate we’re putting on a panel discussion featuring a group of people who go out and make things happen, with their passion for it all being their main motivator. It’s also one week before our October programme for Brighton Photo Fringe and Biennial opens.

Wednesday September 24th. Doors at 6pm, kicks off at 7pm. Free Entry at The Old Market, Brighton. Free Entry.

Our Panel features…

Emily Graham is the co-founder and director of Night Contact, a new multimedia and photography festival. Supporting and promoting contemporary image making, Night Contact aims to bring together innovative photographic works that provoke or engage in conversations with other media, such as film, music and literature.

On 18th October Night Contact comes to Brighton Photo Biennial. Screening projections across indoor and outdoor spaces Night Contact showcases a range of still and moving works exploring ideas of collaboration, authorship and influence in relation to the photographic image and the screen.

The inaugural edition of the festival took place across a range of venues in Dalston, East London in September 2013, presenting work from the new frontiers of photography; illuminating the streets of Dalston with still and moving images from local and internationally recognised artists.
